Restorative yoga is a floor and wall based practice that relies on the use of props and the prolonged holding of postures to achieve a deep level of relaxation.
During class, you centre your awareness upon the breath - aligning the physical, mental & energetic bodies. Benefits include slowing down, soothing the nervous system & encouraging mindfulness
Vinyasa Yoga threads postures together to create an intelligent series of “flows".
In vinyasa yoga, each movement is synchronised with the breath. In fact, flow yoga is a breath-based practice of mindfulness in motion. Enjoy a variety of classes ranging from slow-flow to uplifting and energising.
Yin Yoga is a complementary practice to the more dynamic and invigorating yoga styles that are predominant today. A quiet floor based practice, postures are held passively for several minutes in order to access a safe and positive 'stress' on the deep layers of connective tissue.
Meditation is the training of attention which cultivates mindfulness.
Mindfulness is your awareness of what’s going on in the present moment without any judgment. Practices here include breath awareness, body scans, yoga nidra & mantra meditation to facilitate deeper experiences in meditation.
